Games and game text appears in Japanese for whenever possible, and this chip is very popular because it is virtually compatible with all releases. The 23605 indicates Japanese region, the "B" indicates revision B, with full compatibility with DIMMs, NET DIMMs of any software revision, GD-Roms, and link hardware. B was recently updated to C for Dynamite Deka EX/Asian Dynamite capability and other late release cartridge games.
